Tree Sculpture
During a storm this particular Pine tree suffered a severe split down its centre. A tree surgeon cut it
off at the split which was about 15 feet above ground level to make it safe. Rather than cutting down the
whole tree the owners decided to make a feature of the remainder. The commission was to carve
something that children would enjoy and to stretch the imagination.
